Rewind is a backup solution that saves and protects your QuickBooks Online data, and also enables you to rewind the data to an earlier version in the event of any type of data disaster.
At this time, Rewind backs up and can rewind the following QuickBooks Online items:
- Bill Payments
- Credit Memos
- Journal Entries
- Purchase Orders
- Refund Receipts
- Sales Receipts
- Time Activities
- Vendors credits
- Employees (except SSN field)
- Journal Codes (France only)
- Payment Methods
We will soon have the ability to backup/restore the following QuickBooks Online items:
- Company Info
- Exchange Rates
In addition to the above list, the following QuickBooks Online items are also backed up. In the event that this data is lost, the Rewind technical support team can help you recover
- Tax Agencies
- Tax Codes
- Tax Rates
Rewind is committed to backing up everything we can. Often, our ability to backup is dependent on what data Intuit makes available through their APIs. Due to lack of availability Rewind cannot back up or restore the following data:
- QuickBooks Online payments (Payment processing)
- Banking Feeds, Bank Rules, Bank Reconciliations
- Customer Types
- Price Rules
- Delayed Charges and Delayed Credits
- Recurring Transactions
- Account-based billable expenses
- Item-based billable expenses with markups
- Custom Reports and Custom Forms
- Audit Log Entries
- Inventory Adjustments
*We are not yet granted the necessary permissions needed to access this data.
Due to popular demand, the following features will soon be available for Rewind for QuickBooks Online:
- Copy to new shell
We would love to know if, upon reading the list above, there is other data that you - as our valued Rewind customer - would like or need to have backed up. You can help us make this a reality faster by contacting QuickBooks Online Support and requesting that they make backups and restoration for that item possible. If they know that customers are in need of this feature, they may be much more likely to work on allowing the access needed to make it happen.
If you have any additional feedback, please feel free to contact us directly at email@example.com.
