Example: Customer has one store wherein the product prices that they enter into Shopify include tax; in the other, they do not. Therefore, the same product has a different price in each store. The customer wants to create a sync between stores, so that the inventory can be kept up-to-date while the individual stores' prices remain different - can Replay do this for them?
While Replay can create a continuous, automatic copy from the master store to the destination store(s) on a real-time basis, *for all items except Product Inventory, it is ultimately a one-way copy. This means that for all items (except Product Inventory, should you so choose), you will not be able to have a two-way sync between the two shops.
Replay is simply for copying items that get sent from the court shop (the "master" store) to additional shops (the "destination" store(s)) - it is not a continuous loop where data can be sent back to the source shop, and thus kept 'synced'.
Therefore, at this time, we do not recommend setting up a two-way sync - but it is something we are working towards for all copyable items in the future.
